For this project my group and I decided that our project idea should be around conspiracies that have happened and how the media send out subliminal messages all the time that we can be unaware of, whether it is through a song or video. Our aim was to get our audience to understand this and to become more aware of what they are watching and listening to. From my research I have looked at such conspiracies as 9/11 and the link to the dollar bill although this could be a total coincidence it seems to have a lot of links like the pentagon ablaze.
All of the images we put in the video was from Google, we decided to do this because it went with the whole theme and song lyrics. Looking back I think this was a good idea because is showed the sort of pictures the media portray. Also the song choice went perfectly with our video and the message we wanted to get across. The main equipment we used was a digital camera to film and a tripod to hold the camera.
We wanted to edit the video on flash but we were having difficulty in getting the pictures in time with the music, so we decided to edit the video on I movie instead which was a lot easier and faster to do. Another challenged I had to overcome was filming because I had never done it before but after a few tries and the help with my group I managed to. The feedback my group and I got from the class was good, they fully understood our video and the message we was trying to get across, they suggested that some of the text could be slower, so it will give them more time to read what it says. Overall all I thought the project went well and was enjoyable.
